NABANA NO SATO

 

Una de las atracciones más queridas por los propios japoneses a lo largo y ancho del país son los maravillosos montajes de iluminaciones que nos muestran, una vez más, ese amor por el detalle que tan arraigado está en su cultura. Es por eso que Nabana no Sato se llena de multitudes entre octubre y mayo, temporada en la que puede contemplarse el maravilloso espectáculo de 8 millones de luces LED con el que se engalana un área de 210.000 metros cuadrados de este parque botánico situado en la ciudad de Kuwana, cerca de Nagoya, en la prefectura de Mie.

A pesar de que Nagoya no suele entrar dentro de los itinerarios de un primer viaje a Japón, sí que es un lugar interesante que tener en cuenta cuando se repite o incluso cuando es la primera vez pero se dispone de algunos días extra.

TOKYO 2021

El Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI), el Comité Paralímpico Internacional (IPC), el Comité Organizador de Tokio 2020, el Gobierno Metropolitano de Tokio y el Gobierno de Japón han acordado hoy las nuevas fechas para la XXXII Olimpiada, en 2021. Los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020 se celebrarán del 23 de julio al 8 de agosto de 2021. También han convenido las nuevas fechas para los Juegos Paralímpicos, que se celebrarán del 24 de agosto al 5 de septiembre de 2021.

Los líderes de todas las partes principales se reunieron esta mañana a través de una videoconferencia, en la que han formado parte el presidente del COI, Thomas Bach; el presidente de Tokio 2020, MORI Yoshirō; la gobernadora de Tokio, KOIKE Yuriko; y la ministras para los Juegos Olímpicos y Paralímpicos, HASHIMOTO Seiko, quienes llegaron a un acuerdo sobre las nuevas fechas.

Esta decisión se fundamenta en tres motivos básicos, acordes con los principios establecidos por la Comisión Ejecutiva del COI el 17 de marzo de 2020 y confirmados en la reunión de hoy. Dichos principios contaron con el respaldo de todas las federaciones internacionales (FI) de deportes Olímpicos de verano y de todos los Comités Olímpicos Nacionales (CON):

1. Proteger la salud de los atletas y de todas las personas implicadas en los Juegos, así como apoyar la contención del virus de la COVID-19.

2. Salvaguardar los intereses de los atletas y del deporte Olímpico.

3. La consideración de los calendarios deportivos internacionales.

WKF to organise Test Event to evaluate COVID-19 guidelines

The World Karate Federation is hosting a Test Event in Lisbon (Portugal) this weekend to analyse the implementation of the WKF COVID-19 Guidelines at upcoming major competitions.

The World Karate Federation is hosting a Test Event in Lisbon (Portugal) this weekend to analyse the implementation of the WKF COVID-19 Guidelines at upcoming major competitions.

In order to guarantee the wellbeing of competitors and staff members in all WKF events, as well as to ensure the correct application of the COVID-19 Guidelines, the WKF has decided to organise the WKF COVD-19 Test Event this weekend. All the different requirements and new regulations that need to be implemented at competitions as a result of the coronavirus pandemic will be evaluated at the event.

Organised in cooperation with the Portuguese Karate Federation, the Test Event aims at demonstrating the efficiency of the WKF COVID-19 Guidelines and streamlining the modified competition protocol to minimise the effects of the epidemic at major tournaments.

The capital of Portugal is going to be the venue of the first WKF event of the calendar next year as the 2021 Karate 1-Premier League Lisbon will be the opening tournament of the season. The event is scheduled to take place in Lisbon from February 19 to 21, 2021.

“The WKF COVID-19 Test Event is the first WKF event that we are organising in nearly ten months. In this time, all the different bodies of the WKF have worked incessantly to ensure a safe return to activity. We decided to take all the necessary precautions before hosting an actual event, as the safety of our competitors is our main concern. This Test Event represents the final step in this process and the right way to demonstrate that Karate is truly a safe sport,” said WKF President Antonio Espinós.

“I want to thank the Portuguese Karate Federation and its president Carlos Silva for their proactivity and for all their efforts to make this event a success, and for the strong collaboration between the local organising team and the WKF team” added Mr Espinós.
